  • This issue focuses on Peter Parker's struggle to escape the coffin he was buried in. He finally emerges after two weeks and, upon realizing what Kraven has done, becomes enraged.
  • The story culminates in Spider-Man confronting Kraven, who considers himself the victor because he has already beaten and replaced Spider-Man. The storyline ends with Kraven committing suicide, believing he has conquered his inner demons.
  • "Kraven's Last Hunt" was a crossover event that ran across three Spider-Man titles: Web of Spider-Man #31-32, The Amazing Spider-Man #293-294, and Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #131-132.
